EAT Stockholm Food Forum is a gathering of top global thought leaders from science, politics, business, civil society and beyond to discuss food system transformation.
Who goes? Leaders who have an interest on influencing the international food agenda. Although hosted in the Nordics, this conferences take a more global, high-minded policy view of the food system.
This 2-day food exhibition is centered around “setting tomorrow’s table.” Startups from across Scandinavia will exhibit although there is a heavy focus on Danish companies. This event happens during the Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival and alongside the World Food Summit, which brings policy makers together to discuss the food agenda.
Who goes: interested investors, foodies, general public, and startups wanting to introduce their product to the masses.
Hosted by the Danish Food Cluster and taking place Jutland, this a jam packed week putting the spotlight on Western Denmark. The week includes the Europe Food Venture Forum, EIT Food Innovation Prize, a Corporate innovation & Food Festival Tour as well as the Aarhus Food Festival.
Like the Følkemøde that brings people of all kinds together to discuss politics, the The People’s Food Meeting is all about discussing food. You’ll find exhibitions, discussions, debates, classes at this event.
Who goes: a wide variety of food ecosystem members! This event is great for the diversity and how it looks at food from many different angles.
Hosted by the startup community for the startup community, this has grown to become a huge convening of startups from across Europe. While it definitely caters to tech startups, there are a ton of investors and it’s a good way to see and be seen.
Who goes: All kinds of tech companies and tech investors. AgTech and FoodTech companies would definitely find this interested, but CPGs might feel out of place.
A festival “to find human answers to technical problems” this is an event made by many communities to discuss the world’s big questions. The communities decide the agenda and there is almost always a group interested in hosting a food-oriented conference/track! It’s also fun to attend other tracks and see the power of diversity to land on new ideas.
Who goes: passionate people of all kinds interested in discussing world problems and finding grassroots solutions! This is a great opportunity to spar, meet, and dream with like-minded people.
This is an upbeat, whirlwind event of what the Swedish ecosystem has to offer. One day is devoted so gathering the ecosystem around a common cause / discussion point with plenty of networking happening in the background. Day two is devoted to matchmaking investors and startups.
Who goes? Startups, investors, interested members of the community, individuals who want to get involved. This is a great high-impact conference to get to know what’s happening the startup world!
